Curious

Something even more curious in the wood pile.

No idea if this is a fungus or a slime mold.  The 'lollipops' are flat and they are all curiously aligned.

(On closer inspection of other shots, they are like tiny mushrooms, but with the top facing towards the camera in the blip.  Probably the log was disturbed before I saw these and what is now forward used to simply be 'up'.)
