………………………………but different. Volcanic rock…one from Iceland the other from New Zealand, courtesy of eldest over the years. Don’t ask me which is which though!

A busy day…walked over to Berwick mid morning to meet a friend off the bus, it was a glorious morning and I ended stripping off hats and gloves enroute as I was too warm! We took a circuitous route to a coffee shop and just managed to get served before their power was turned off for a meter change. We ended up staying for a light lunch before it was time to head to the station for L to catch a train south again. A brief but much needed catch up, on a lovely winters day.

Enjoyed a sunny walk home again, amassing over 11,000 steps in total. A brief visit from another friend this afternoon before I had to run the boys back to Berwick when they returned the car…MC having been to uni to do some paid lecturing. A delivery of picture frames meant I could frame some of my ready mounted photos…I haven’t decided whereabouts in the sitting room I’m going to hang them yet though. Another Christmas card completed before I made my tea. A quiet evening now.
