Studio apartment in February

My younger son, Kári, has been living in Reykjavík for the last two years and renting an unnecessarily big and expensive apartment just for himself (he´s only had flatmates for a few months...the last one was a less than ideal company to live with).
The housing market and renting in our capital has been a bit difficult for a long time, so when he was moving to Reykjavík in January 2023 he was lucky to get this two bedroom apartment in Vesturbærinn and said yes to the offer. 
He's working on his doctorate in physics at University of Iceland so he could apply for housing on campus and decided to do that some weeks ago. Today he got offered a studio apartment at Sæmundargata - in this colourful building - owned by FS Student Housing and will be moving next month.
