White Faced Heron....

..... found this White-faced Heron, Egretta novaehollandiae, taking it easy in the afternoon sun. There was also a white egret hanging around and one lonely pelican sitting on the weir wall.
The river is now back to normal flow, so the wildlife is slowly coming back.
