Hot Holiday Rio!

A public holiday today and everyone's party mood soared with the temperature (34c)!

Some admin work followed by a stroll up and round Santa Clara, including a just-for-fun pop into the site office for a to-be-built apartment block around the corner.

Lunch at Adega Perola with our favourites on show here, rollmop and octopus a la viniagrette.  Evening drink at Combinado Carioca and then a bite to eat in our local place to wrap a very pleasant day!

Extra shows some shop fronts in the Antiquary Market that we also walked through, again.
