My day

Tiny Tuesday

I went to the Art Gallery today and loved some of the weaving on display. Local School Students had done an online project put on by the Home Aboriginal artist’s workshop in conjunction with the Art Gallery of NSW. These small weaving entries are from Trunkey Primary School. It uses natural material found near their school and on their farms. Trunkey is a settlement 50km south of Bathurst in farming country. It has just over 100 residents and 2 streets, 2 pubs and a police station. I’m not sure if I have been there as it looks like if you blinked you would miss it. It had some gold mining in the Gold Rush and now holds the Guinness book of Records for the most Alpacacs shorn in one day. Brett Molly did 845 full wool alpacas in 24 hours. I didn’t know any of that! All from a visit to the art gallery and reading online about the village. The blip challenge is for Alike but Different thanks Loisbiz.

Also had my knee X-Rayed before a return visit to the knee surgeon. It still seems swollen and stiff so I want him to check it and advise on the hip. I’m not sure if I should rest or push the exercise.
