The same creature at different stages of their life cycle.  I first blipped the caterpillar that is now a chysalis on the first of January.  It transformed yesterday so a Monarch Buterfly should emerge about the  30th.  The second caterpillar shown here is also getting pretty big and I have a smaller one busy eating away.  Amazing what a piece of white card does to get a clean background and throw some light.
