Finished

I took a bit of time out today to finish the LEGO.
THe morning was spent making bread and doing admin. After a phone call to a helpful person at the payroll company I thought I'd done all I needed, but then I discovered I needed another code from HMRC. I hope that'll be it sorted when that comes.
Finding all the bits of paper I needed made me realise there were quite a number of bits surplus to requirements so they went in the bin, along with the contents of 2 drawers full of redundant paperwork I'd forgotten about. I now have better space to store church paperwork.
As well as finishing the kingfisher I listened to a radio play and did some knitting prior to getting the tea ready to go in the oven when we returned from our evening runs (mine was a pleasant ones through woods and farmland by headtorchlight). It was whoever got in first put the food in the oven - we arrived at the same time so Mr Rat put the oven on while I removed my muddy shoes, then I put it in!
