Maudie

We had a really difficult weekend with Maudie. On Saturday she suddenly lost control of her back legs. She wobbled all over the living room and then I had to support her with her evening ablutions. I was convinced this was the beginning of the end - although she was still very alert. And otherwise her normal self. Sunday morning she skipped outside with just the occasional wobble & today she hasn’t wobbled at all. I think it has made us realise that whilst this episode has turned out to be short lived she is an old lady and we need to cherish every moment with this exceptional little dog, who outwits us all and is as smart as a whip.
