Blue Monday

I found out today, via an on-screen notification, that my temporarily homeless client of last year, a young man, had been knocked over, and subsequently died in hospital last Friday. That hurt.
Went to the monthly meeting (we hadn’t had once since last November) and the number of deaths was high, even for winter. Med students were with us so we spent a lot of time discussing individual pathologies …

In the afternoon, more conversations and emails around homeless clients, amongst others. Sad times for so many. I don’t want to go into details, I can’t, anyway. Let’s just say that today has been the bluest blue Monday I’ve ever known

On the other hand, I did work in a nice office today!
