Statuesque

This morning Inca took an early train to London to start her two week vet placement. Tommy worked from home until the taxi came to collect him at 3pm for his flight back home to Munich. So now all is quiet at home with everyone gone once again.

Adam's car was sold yesterday, Anna had to deal with a pushy car dealer who cut the price agreed by Motorway. The sale was meant to be concluded before Adam left but it took longer than expected. The old VW Golf that was shared between Luke and Tommy was also sold today, so a new year and new changes.

It was colder than I expected when I walked Xena this morning, my hands were freezing as I forgot my gloves. Here she is sitting like a statue while I was taking a photo of something, she always waits so patiently for me! 

Today is Blue Monday, apparently it is the most most depressing day of the year, always the third Monday in January when the excitement of Christmas is forgotten, the weather is shite and people realise they spent too much in December. At Gavin's office they have various things to cheer up the staff like getting puppies in to their office to cuddle. It is amazing how companies treat their staff so much better today, when I worked I could not even get time off for a dentist appointment!

I spent the afternoon re-editing some old photos as I need to think about entries for my next camera club competition. I find I struggle to choose the right images. Tonight we have a printing session mainly for the newer members, so I am not going.
