Grainy pre-dawn

Thanks for all your nice comments yesterday on my 300. It is a great milestone, but I've found it's actually got easier to find subjects as time goes on. I've nearly always got several ideas to try. So only just over 2 months to the full year... I expect I shall make it now!

It wasn't drizzling as predicted first thing this morning, but we weren't going to see the sunrise, as there was a lot of cloud around. I found the early light interesting though, even without the sun.

It was darkish, and my camera produces a lot of noise at high iso. I decided to try using it anyway (I've avoided doing this in the past, staying with 400 max, or pushing to 800 very occasionally). When I checked out the images back home, I decided I quite liked the noise factor, the purple and blue separating out, and the grainy effect. I don't know whether you will, but here is one of my shots. I'll be interested to hear what you think.
