Everything all at once

Bit of an early surprise this morning when our decorators turned up a week earlier than expected, we had been told they would be coming next Monday. This necessitated a bit of rapid room clearing. 
A little later our solar power people came to move the storage batteries to the garage ( why we didn’t have them there in the first place I’ve no idea) he was here all day pretty much.
During all this kerfuffle we had a delivery of logs. They came in this huge lorry which parked in the middle of the road. Luckily no one seemed to want to go in or out during the ten minutes he was here.
We had an exciting afternoon barrowing logs round to the back of the house to be stored. I have a cold so was streaming like a tap during all this.
Workmen seem to drink astonishing amounts of tea, liberally sweetened. 
We’ve got through a vast amount of sugar.
