Half thawed

Or half frozen?
There are still occasional patches of snow in the woods and of ice on the paths - waiting for more as they say.
To compensate there was that glorious golden late afternoon light and I dared to be out until almost 16.00. A month ago my curfew was 15.00 so things are indeed looking up.
