Remembering Mum

Mum’s birthday today. This is her locket that she was given as a teenager and handed on to me. I sometimes wear it but keep it on display in my jewellery box so that I see it each day. 17 years and I still miss her every day. Grateful for the blessing of a wonderful Mum even though I lost her too soon. Video call from my brother (on holiday in South Africa) for a birthday toast. Don’t want this blip to be sad - am now able to enjoy so many happy memories of her. Always loved.
