Sunday roast

Apologies for another food picture!
It's been a cold grey day here, as it seems so have been all over England. We made a visit to the local tip in Rickmansworth, then tidied up the garden at my Mum's old house so it doesn't look too neglected.  This afternoon we visited A, one of my late Aunty's oldest friends, who as always was most welcoming.  
This evening, we were back in Rickmansworth for a roast dinner at our favourite pub, The Feathers. ( It was the least I could do to treat Martin to a meal after he's spent so much time helping me with the property clearance. )
This is actually a nut roast topped with a Yorkshire pudding. Martin had the roast beef. Very good too on a miserable winter's night.
