Sharon's Swapshop 2025

A fine mild day, fairly calm and dry, but quite dull.

Up fairly early for a Sunday.  Headed out walkies with Sammy after breakfast.  Picked up friend Julie at lunchtime.  We headed out west for an afternoon of shopping in Aith, and a walk with the dogs.  The village was busy with the hall open, the charity shop and the Co-op.  A fine lazy evening at home, last walkies before bed. 

Sharon Deyell's 14th edition charity fundraiser, Sharon's Swapshop was held today.  The team of volunteers organised a whole hall full of secondhand clothes, along with raffles and teas. It was mostly women's clothes, I didn't spy anything for myself, but I enjoyed a cuppa and cake.  They raised over £6,500 for Clan Cancer Support and Viking Genes.  A busy hall with shoppers snapping some bargains, taken the the Aith Hall, Aithsting.
