Helleborus "Ice Breaker Max"

A lazy day so I wandered round the garden looking for signs of spring.  Before ant bright spark suggests Hellebores aren't sings of spring I Know this is a "Christmas Rose".  I didn't find many good signs of spring so I settled for the ""sign" of winter.

We have had Ice Breaker in the garden for a year or so and I had ignored it up to today so now is its turn to shine.  Well perhaps not shine as it is well past its best.  The Max seems to be named after a person as there seem to be others called Ruby and Rosy.  It also appears to be a hybrid with the full name being Helleborus x nigercors.
