Quarrelsome

I gather that our finches have been having a pretty poor season. Even the  ubiquitous chaffinch has become more scarce due to the unusual conditions at the start of last year. 

Greenfinches tend to sit at the feeder and only move off when another finch harries them. I've been trying to catch a shot of the flurry of feathers as this happens. I can use the pro capture feature (it takes a whole bunch from before and after you press the shutter) but it's not easy to get the right speed especially at this time of year when the light's poor so I'm using a high ISO. My blip is today's attempt. It's not great, the speed's probably a little high, it's quite noisy and it's a major crop but this is a work in progress.
