Ice cream weather

I seem to have developed a bit of a cold in the last couple of days.  Nothing serious; even I couldn't claim it as man flu; just a tickly throat and runny nose, but enough to give me a couple of disturbed nights' sleep.  I decided to take a glug of 'Night Nurse' last night and it was very effective.  I had a good sleep all night and woke up about two hours later than I normally do!

We both fancied a walk and we also needed some milk so we headed over to Sheringham to kill two birds with one stone.  Walking down to the sea front we noticed that our favourite ice cream shop was open.  The temperature outside was probably colder than the ice cream but it didn't stop us; we both had one of their 'mince pie' flavour cones.  They also had the remains of another Christmas flavour; whisky and marmalade.  Not much left, so if we don't head back for it in a day or so, we'll have to wait until next year to try it.
