Beauty and a Cone

It was another chilly 9am start for week two of the couch to 5km cohort I'm helping run this year. All but one of last weeks starters made it (the missing runner had made her excuses for this week in advance). We extended the run lengths but with regular brisk walking breaks. Not quite as cold as last week but still cold enough!

Whilst Annie cracked on with studies, I got a few jobs done. I popped out mid-afternoon to drop a parcel and had a little walk along the canal on the other side of Aylesbury. Whilst not as pretty a scene as it could be, I liked the contrast in this scene between the cone and the rest. There is even a jet of water coming out the cone!
