AERIAL ACROBAT

Lucky for me this little guy stayed still a few seconds while he decided if the next branch would support him. He was a bit too heavy for the flexible branch, but held on and was able to scramble on to the next tree. He put on quite a show dashing around the treetops. Seemed like a good day to get away from macros - this was about 35 yards away, so glad it was clear. :-)

Haven't seen any birds or small animals since early spring when the hawks took up residence, so I'm hoping this is a good sign that they can return now. In an effort to attract new blip material, I've put in a bird feeder - here's hoping!
