A hot and sunny Yorkshire Day for a change and a lovely day celebrating my son's 7th birthday. He was up at 6.30, not too bad considering his excitement. We spent the day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park with my in laws. It was our first visit there and as regular visitors to Chester zoo I wasn't sure it could meet there standards but I was impressed with what they have done there. We managed to see 7 of the 12 lions that live there who were rescued from a Romanian zoo 3 years ago. Fantastic to see them looking so well.
