Little bit of self care

Always used to paint my own nails, and take good care of them. Housework, menopause, lack of time have all taken their toll, and the nail varnish never stayed on long.

A friend’s daughter has set up a little business to help fund her uni course so I treated myself before Christmas. Went back for a second go! I love them!

Busy day of taxi service for Charlotte, and a bit of shopping. Also but the bullet and let her drive to the cinema, first time I’ve taken her out while she’s been learning. Just one hair raising moment but other than that she did a good job.

Positives:

1) the new nails were a pick me up
2) I’ve taken the plunge with Charlotte driving
3) Liverpool got back to winning ways - at the last minute!
