Calm

A lovely day, almost spring like. I spent the morning in the back garden, clearing dead, slimy black foliage. It's about time it was tidied up a bit! Lots of new growth at the base of the perennials was reassuring to see.
Lottie and I had a good walk, both of us came home muddy to our knees! Luckily none on my belly!
In the evening, for the first time ages, friend J and her border terrier Scratch came round for a meal. Scratch ate Lottie's as I hadn't  been quick enough to lift it as she bowled through the door!
It was very relaxed and good fun. We played Bananagram. Not as taxing as Scrabble when drink has been taken!
