Hollyhocks & lavenders . . .

……………………… at my daughter’s this morning.

It was my oldest granddaughter’s birthday yesterday and coffee & cake was on this morning. We had a lovely time together, enjoying the blackcurrant & chocolate cake that my daughter had made. It was seriously yummy! It’s an old family recipe that A. had altered, and added the chocolate and fresh blackcurrants.

It was clouded over this morning but cleared to another sunny warm day. They’re forecasting 27°C for tomorrow.
