Cheerleaders?

I have absolutely no idea who they are and why they were in the town square. They hung around for a bit, then built a human pyramid, and then got down again. And did/said nothing for the next 5 minutes that I was there.

It was slightly odd - there was nothing that I could see or hear letting anyone know why they were there...

Still, it's a blip opportunity. :-)
