Sugarbag

It’s been a while between blips of NBN nodes wrapped in Indigenous art. The boxes are part of the national broadband network, originally factory green. About two dozen have been tarted up - I gave myself the challenge of photographing them all during lockdown. They start at the top of King St, Newtown, wind through Erskineville and Alexandria and finish in an industrial area behind WestConnex.

The artist is Gudu Mungulu from the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
