parkrun day

What a difference a week makes.  The car didn't need defrosting and I arrived in plenty of time.. I chatted to Alfie and a few other volunteers before the start, joking with these two about some of the other park users grumpiness about our event.   Sadly today the grumpy ones were out.  Gordon did a marvellous job of managing them 
After some lunch and chores MrRIU went to the pub for a few hours during which I visited Pa and called into Home Bargains for some storage boxes. Mice have an eye on our hi viz.  
Alfie was 18 this week and in the evening I'd been invited to his party.  I dropped in for a short time, exhausted from this week's lack of sleep.  There was a good group from parkrun and lots of younger people too.
