Stepping out

We headed out this morning to Cafe Andaluz on George IV Bridge to have brunch with friends in particular to mark the impending transition to the second half of a decade as their birthdays approach.

It was our first visit there and the certainly have invested in the vibe. As you can see from the photos. There were not many of us in the restaurant when we arrived and the guitar music initially was a bit overpowering: as the place filled up later it was toned down.

It was a lovely event and we enjoyed the fare. So much so that we eventually abandoned a planned visit to the museum.
