Gael Monfils

beat Taylor Fritz in an exciting match at the Australian Open today. Gael is 38 and considered old to be playing professional tennis at such a high level. I will be rooting for him in the next round.

I had a chilly swim at 8am -- then a quick breakfast before my first game of pickle ball. One lady from my book club plays a lot and she invited 3 of us to make up a doubles game. She coached us in the basics of the game. I enjoyed it and thought it was a good work out.

Visited my mother for the afternoon and had a tasty early dinner.

Currently watching ‘Secrets of the Hell’s Angels’ on Sky History.

I am quite tired now and will be in bed early.
