Temple of decision

More here with some pics of how it was.
Today Mr Rat was redoing his recce for next week's relay as his running partner couldn't go last week so I thought I might as well try an alternative to my route.
It was 14C warmer than when we set off last week but not such a lovely day, grey and a bit misty with a bit of a breeze in exposed areas.
This folly looked nicer with a bit of snow on it but that's all gone now.
Home in time for lunch and then a snooze and some odds and ends this afternoon and re-boiling and potting the marmalade after tea, it seems to be better. I'd used the same method as before but from a different book and I think the amount of water it said was too much.
