After various attempts at shopping we walked to the train station to pick up #1. On the way we crossed a foot bridge over the motorway I was curious about. Turns out that until a little over a decade ago there was a velodrome. Apparently, it was a very fast one with speeds up to a 120km/h. That seems quite insane to me. Anyway, the track got refurbished in the 80s and was condemned in the early 2000s. Now the site houses a big furniture store where we got our kitchen from.
