Firth of Forth Twilight
This is what 265 seconds of magnificent Firth of Forth twilight looks like captured from the viewpoint on the Lothian side at Queensferry.
A few changes since my first (and most recent) visit to this important spot with the Queensferry Crossing beyond and Forth Bridge between no longer being the primary road link across the river.
Really special being back out there capturing this glorious Scottish twilight blue at this incredible location I first visited with my Mum in 1987. Definitely feeling that emotional connection with the memories, the bridges and those incredibly formative family travels.
You know, I’ve driven across these beautiful bridges (and photographed all three) heaps of times since - but without those early travels I’m not sure its a road I would’ve ever been on
