Crochet, Tea and Daisy

I enjoyed a leisurely lie-in this morning after a lovely evening with the Gilchimps at our friends the Bees last night.
I swung by Carole’s house early afternoon as we, alongside Frances and Helen, had booked into a Crochet Workshop at Wild Wool in Peebles. It’s a skill I’ve never been able to master and I really thought it had defeated me again today. However copious amounts of tea, cake and the presence of Daisy the dog convinced me to carry on. Our teacher was infinitely patient (despite finding me very challenging) and I can now crochet!
We’re off out again soon to Frances and Alan’s for a games night, so thought it best to blip now. I’ll catch up with everyone’s journals tomorrow.
