Want Ice With That?

I got up this morning determined to get out for some exercise and when I saw the sun and the blue sky appear, decided it was a "Going to the Lake" day. 

The problem was, my PSW would not arrive until 9:30 and I was afraid that all this inviting weather would probably change by that time..and I was right...it did.. The sun disappeared and the gray returned... no blue sky...but I went anyway. 

It was good to be outdoors despite the dullness of the day; at least it was not freezing cold - we are in a mild spell for a couple of days, but the Arctic is to send us some frigid temps very soon, so it was best to get out with camera before that! 

Most of my photos were quite blah..a true reflection of the weather, but the walk did me good..and I met some friendly folks on the trail, so all was not lost. 

And, of course, the minute I got home and into the house? The sun came out and voila, blue sky again! Some days I just can't win.
