Papers all over
In the morning, Jim came and transferred our mesh to the new fibre broadband WI-FI modem. He also did a couple of tidy-up jobs on our alarm system.
I spent some time in the afternoon in my office/music room/book room. I downloaded some music for band, but couldn't persuade my computer to talk to my printer. After giving up on that job, I started sorting out rather chaotic amounts of downloaded and printed music - the job wasn't finished when I had "had enough", took this photo, and came downstairs for a gin.
In the evening, our tablets decided we were in Zumbi, in Ecuador. We're suspicious that this is in some way related to our WiFi mesh - the mesh extenders chosen by Jim seem to have some sort of inbuilt VPN facility, which presumably has for some reason picked an IP address apparently in Ecuador. We don't know how to correct this.
