A Full Friday

Parque de Lage, a once-private Italianate house with a rain-forest garden designed by an Englishman, set on the banks of the Rio De Janeiro lagoon, was the first call.  We wound our way up through the Atlantic Jungle to the duck pound with not a duck in sight but plenty of massive gold fish!

Next, a walk around the lagoon before lunch at our favourite Bar Lagoa and a walk along the Copacabana orla/seafront which had a bright all-the-fun-of-the-fair atmosphere!
