The view from Yorkshire.

Today is Yorkshire Day. Hope you've had a good one. A friend came round to view our new home for the first time, and we had intended to earn our lunch with a walk, but as it was really misty and still wet underfoot from yesterday's downpours, we skipped the walk part and went straight to the lunch. As the mist cleared later, it looked promising for a fine sunset so I drove along our road to a spot (where I saw the kestrels) where there are fine views of Derwent Edge in the Peak District to the West. The kestrels were still hunting in the evening light, and the sunset did not disappoint.
