Trevor Rocks from Cyrn-y-Brain

A very nice walk in the white stuff today up to a favourite of ours Cyrn-y-Brain high above the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen.
I hadn't checked to see if the Horseshoe Pass was open but that probably worked in our favour today as when we came across the sign saying it was closed I just drove around it as the road seemed fine. It was absolutely clear of snow and there were literally hundreds of people up here sledging near the Ponderosa cafe.
We put our micro spikes on and headed up the slope and were surrounded by the most glorious light all the time, sometimes misty sometimes clear but always changing. Just off the path the snow was still about a foot deep.
This is looking back towards Trevor rocks where we were a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure I've got better photos but as I took over 400 in total it might be a while before I find them.
