Belated birthday meal with dad and heather this evening; bbq ribs, can’t go wrong.

A good morning looking back through all the references I’ve ever saved throughout my PhD (750 according to endnote) to double check if there were any significant avenues omitted from the final thesis that would be worth having a note of in case I’m asked why I didn’t reference this or that. A helpful exercise.

I then spent a bit of time reading one of my external examiner’s books to reassure myself I was right not to have included it anywhere in my work. The foreword scared me slightly, but thankfully all is well.
