Extreme Gardening

I think we both got carried away with the chainsaw, loppers & pruners, not to mention my new garden handsaw that J gave me for Christmas. We’ve trimmed the holly hedge & removed all the old dead wood & we’ve cut down the old lilac tree but left the stump for a clematis to grow over. We’ve been feeding the incinerator all day & when daughter J came over after work she joined in too. We all came in shattered & reeking of smoke.
We showered then enjoyed a well earned glass of wine or two whilst making the lasagne for dinner.
