My first book of 2025 completed tonight. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters but less so the writing. Not sure I would rush to read another by the same author but it was an interesting setting.

My Friday went quickly with minimal teaching, lots of wandering and a couple of meetings. Home via the supermarket and in to Bailey who had to be made to come in from digging behind a bush tonight. A new found hobby to be discouraged.
