Pushed south
Some migratory waterfowl have shown up with the cold blast of air from the north. This field belongs to a friend of ours. The Canadas and Trumpeter swan are very hard on the winter wheat crop. I know they are hungry but the farmer suffers great losses when the birds find their fields. I enjoy hearing them coming and watching them fly over and land in the fields. Amazing birds.
