Friday: Flautist

We drove to Kingston this morning as it’s a pretty good shopping hub for us, with all major shops.  We both needed a few wintery wear items and I’m glad to report we were successful.  

Less successful was our parking - the small print informing us that the car park had a 2 hour limit was so minuscule that it was virtually invisible.  The machine wasted no time in telling us we had overstayed so I’ll be expecting a fine to drop through the door any day.

We’ve noticed that bronze statues of animals doing un-animal type things seem to be popping up all over the place, including this one of a hare in high heels playing the flute…..
