Telescope

This telescope was laying in one of our storage rooms. Unused. Because I thought it was not complete. And I did not want to dispose of it, but being it incomplete I also did not like to offer it on eBay.
The telescope (including tripod and, not in the picture, a Vixen Skysensor-3 controller unit) was given to me by a dear colleague more than 10 years ago. He passed away two and half years ago, so I can't ask him how to work with it.

I tried to have a look through it yesterday evening. At least Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn were visible. I could find the latter pair though the finder, but whatever I did, I didn't see anything through the big telescope. With or without the eyepiece. The telescope as is should magnify 200-times, so no idea what went wrong.
I plan to test the telescope during daylight on a distant object.
The controller is also a challenge. It needs 20V, 30W input. Something we don't have.

By the way: I made this photo with my smartphone, and then the AI to remove everything irrelevant, on the balcony as well as outside. A bit fiddling. Perhaps I should use something thinner than my fingertips next time.
