Redecorating realities

 
Well, the decorators today finished the kitchen. That’s the good news. 
Then we received the bill. I nearly fainted.
 
Until now we have always done the decorating ourselves, so we had little idea of cost.
Yes, we were naïve.   I would share a photo of a “before” and “after” except it doesn’t look that different. The white paint has been replaced by a very pale lemon because the kitchen is north facing, and the colour comes from my arty bits and pieces like this teapot.
