Calne Bikes

Last week the Calne Bike Meet took place and thousands of bikers came together for the largest free bike event in Europe, raising money for charity. To commemorate the event, this 20ft high sculpture was erected in a field at the northern entrance to the town.

It was created by the sculptor and scaffolder Toby Welsby using scaffolding pipes, and took two years to build.
