A wonderful West End walk !

This is Kelvinbridge parish church from the bank of the River Kelvin .
My sister had suggested we join her and J for a walk along the canal and the banks of the River Kelvin starting from Anniesland ,  through the botanics , and on to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery where we stopped for coffee. We then walked down to the river to see the Tall Ship and had a wander round the museum before heading back to Partick for the bus back to her home for a meal.  
It was such a lovely day ! 
We hadn't seen each other since before Christmas and it was great to catch up. 
It was quite a long walk for us being over 8 miles but so enjoyable ! 
Quite a change from our rural walks from home.  I have posted a few extras and I especially loved the close view of the heron.
