3.30am counts as today, doesn't it?

In my photo I was just about to head home after six hours in A&E, thanks to Midlothian Council and (probably) Sainsbury's petrol tankers for leaving tarmac so slippery I could barely stand upright, let alone cycle upright, at which I failed spectacularly ten hours earlier.  There was a little bit of gore too but I'm sure you don't want to see that.

The x-rays confirmed nothing is broken, but my ribcage sure as heck feels like it.  Breathing is currently left as an exercise for the reader.  Mum and Dad were troopers and got me to the hospital and back.

<Rule 2> is known amongst my bikey friends as shorthand for our "no swearing" requirement, but I did plenty of it yesterday and today out of earshot of polite blippers.
